Filip’s story

I focus on the commercial aspects of a project, that is pre-construction costings, procurement and budget control.

Working in close collaboration with the design team, I help produce a
cost estimate for the proposed project based on researching the best
materials for the job, the right contractors and factor in any other
costs that will deliver the project to design and client specifications.

Once the client has agreed on the project and the budget, I then produce a cost report to help us all keep on track with the budget throughout the project. I negotiate contracts with contractors, procure materials that deliver the best value for money and if we come across a challenge or have design adjustments while building, I will work out how we manage it within the budget.

I like working at Pentadel as I’m given plenty of responsibility and
ownership of my work. I get to use my initiative every day to solve
challenges and to make sure client’s projects are delivered on budget.

Filip now lives in Cheltenham having moved from Manchester to take up the role at Pentadel.
