Our Commitment to Social Responsibility
At Pentadel, we believe businesses should do more than build - we should make a positive impact on people, the planet, and the communities we’re part of. We know we have a role to play in shaping a better future - and we’re proud to take that responsibility seriously.
Why it Matters
Our Corporate Social Responsibility statement (CSR) sets out the ways we’re actively working to do better - not just within our own company, but across our industry. From championing inclusivity and human rights to reducing our environmental impact and supporting ethical supply chains, we’re committed to building a business that reflects our values.
What We’re Focused On
Ethical Business Practices
We’re big believers in doing the right thing, even when no one’s watching:
Integrity and transparency – Clear communication, fair processes, and accountable decision-making.
Compliance – Staying up to date with the latest laws and industry standards is a given - but we also support our people in understanding and upholding them.
Anti-corruption – We’ve got a zero-tolerance policy for bribery and corruption, backed by strong procedures to keep things honest.
Social Responsibility
People are at the heart of everything we do - from our employees to our clients, suppliers and beyond:
Wellbeing first – We create safe, healthy, and inclusive workspaces with policies that support balance, wellbeing, and professional growth.
Diversity and inclusion – We’re actively building a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive.
Human rights – Across all our operations and supply chains, we stand firmly against forced labour and unethical practices.
Economic Responsibility
We want the impact of our work to be fair, ethical, and far-reaching:
Fair trade – We expect the same values from the people we work with, from fair wages to safe working conditions across our supply chain.
Long-term value – Whether we’re designing a building or shaping our internal policies, we think about long-term sustainability, not short-term wins.
Environmental Sustainability
We’re committed to keeping our footprint as light as possible:
Smarter use of resources – From reducing waste on-site to embedding recycling practices across our operations.
Energy efficiency – Prioritising natural lighting, high-efficiency HVAC systems, and renewable energy sources like solar where we can.
Sustainable sourcing – We look at sustainability through the full lifecycle of our projects, from the materials we choose to the suppliers we work with.
Looking Ahead
This isn’t a one-time pledge. We review our policies every year and constantly look for ways to do better. Our CSR work will keep evolving.
This commitment applies to everyone at Pentadel and to all areas of our work. It’s how we build the kind of company we’re proud to be - one that’s good for people, good for the planet, and fit for the future.
CSR in Action: Supporting Lord’s Taverners
As part of our ongoing commitment to making a difference beyond the workplace, Pentadel was proud to be a sponsor at the 2025 P&M Group Charity Golf Day in support of Lord’s Taverners, a brilliant charity that empowers young people facing inequality and disadvantage through sport and recreation.
It’s just one example of how we’re engaging with organisations that align with our values - and of how we’re putting our social responsibility into practice in ways that directly support our wider community.
Because building better goes far beyond buildings.
